Welcoming a Wee Wonder

Five years ago, the adoption of our sweet Carly was complete. We made our way to the court house to hear the judge declare she was officially a Mueller, our daughter forever. Every year we celebrate the beautiful, sweet, hilarious gift of a girl she is, as we remember the beauty and joy of that exciting, relief-filled day. Carly’s start… Read More

Driven By Fear

A few mornings ago I was running with a friend. She shared a story of a coworker who had let her fears overtake her ability to make sound decisions for her children. Considering all things CoVid, I would say this is a common occurrence as of late. How many times have each of us, in the last year, allowed fear… Read More

Leaning into Grace

An apology begins with deep sorrow for wrong inflicted. Reflection on the infraction committed and the effects of this wrong on the person harmed is necessary. Soon, a genuine expression of regret flows from the depths of the heart. A few weeks ago I received one of the most sincere apologies I have ever experienced. A friend had put me… Read More

War Against Attrition

For years I have been wrestling with agony a dear friend causes me again and again. She does not know the injury she inflicts. She is unable to see it. I needed the pain to subside. So I cried and prayed and poured out my heart to Our Lord. And then, I had an epiphany. I dreamt last night of… Read More

A Fallen Woman and God’s Steadfast Love

Almost 3 years ago the Lord and I had a heart to heart, a deep conversation that I will never forget. We talked about my life and some changes that needed to occur. There was some sacrifice involved, as well as, things He was asking of me. I knew these changes were what I needed and ultimately what was best… Read More

A Rooted Woman

The last few weeks, during this most blessed Advent season, I have reflected tremendously upon the gift that our Mother Mary has given to us in her son, Jesus Christ. The selflessness she exhibited and her self-sacrifice for the universal good of man is striking. She, a single, dependent woman, said yes to our Lord despite the fact that she… Read More

Mission

Photograph by Laura Rousseau

My name is Sarah. I am convinced that through our everyday adventures God shows us His love. These experiences are our stories to share, stories that serve to draw each other nearer to Our Lord. We must learn to listen and observe God all around us. He whispers so we have to be still and listen, even if you are a wildflower…like me!! Wherever we are, whatever our journey, I believe God speaks to us. He meets us where we are, beckons each of our names, and calls us to Himself. By sharing my personal stories, I aspire to embolden you to authentically share your struggles and triumphs. I am praying for you, sister. Together, we will inspire others to courageously discern and follow the will of the Lord. Together, we will actively respond to our calls from God and rejoice in the ride together! Welcome to my journey!
