Holy Rest

I was just blessed with the opportunity to spend a weekend away with one of my dear friends. This friend is a busy one. She is a true apostle for Christ, working full-time, serving both her family and her church community with every available second. My mindful comrade strives to have a balance, yet maintains a tight schedule. Amid our… Read More

Seeking a Stranger’s Service

A dear friend of mine’s son has been struggling tremendously with his mental health. The battle has been taking a serious toll on his mother, my friend. We will call her Emily. Feeling isolated and afraid to share, for fear of judgement or his personal struggle becoming public, she has bottled it all up. Recently, it became apparent to Emily… Read More

Life in the Darkness

A few nights ago one of my daughters poked her head into my room as I was helping my littlest one prepare for bed. She informed me that she needed to talk with me about something. She was very vague. I was exhausted, so of course my brain shifted to the worst scenarios. Confident it was a massive issue that… Read More

Sharpening for Battle

Devastation filled my heart. My body was quaking with ripples from the tears that were flowing deep within my heart. I tremored as I cried out to Our Lord beseeching Him to help me to see the good in this hopeless, devasting situation.  I pleaded for Him to reveal the next step I needed to take to simply get through… Read More

Welcoming a Wee Wonder

Five years ago, the adoption of our sweet Carly was complete. We made our way to the court house to hear the judge declare she was officially a Mueller, our daughter forever. Every year we celebrate the beautiful, sweet, hilarious gift of a girl she is, as we remember the beauty and joy of that exciting, relief-filled day. Carly’s start… Read More

Driven By Fear

A few mornings ago I was running with a friend. She shared a story of a coworker who had let her fears overtake her ability to make sound decisions for her children. Considering all things CoVid, I would say this is a common occurrence as of late. How many times have each of us, in the last year, allowed fear… Read More

Mission

Photograph by Laura Rousseau

My name is Sarah. I am convinced that through our everyday adventures God shows us His love. These experiences are our stories to share, stories that serve to draw each other nearer to Our Lord. We must learn to listen and observe God all around us. He whispers so we have to be still and listen, even if you are a wildflower…like me!! Wherever we are, whatever our journey, I believe God speaks to us. He meets us where we are, beckons each of our names, and calls us to Himself. By sharing my personal stories, I aspire to embolden you to authentically share your struggles and triumphs. I am praying for you, sister. Together, we will inspire others to courageously discern and follow the will of the Lord. Together, we will actively respond to our calls from God and rejoice in the ride together! Welcome to my journey!
