She Blessed Me

Have you ever thought you were blessing someone and it turns out, they were blessing you? God has recently reintroduced a beautiful soul into my life. She’s a rough around the edges but heart pure as gold, kind of woman. A woman who says what she thinks, shares what she believes, unearths her struggles, and embraces the unlikely, often missed, beauty… Read More

Uniquely Unleash Your Faith

Living out your faith in these troubled times can be more than tricky. Often it seems overwhelming and daunting. Judgement seems eminent. But isn’t that exactly what God is calling us to do? To live out our faith to the fullest, despite the opposition we may face and the grumbles we encounter. He calls us as Christians to go the… Read More

Snagging a Sweet Second

The last few weeks my life has been a little crazy. Par for the course with a busy family I guess! With little time for rest, reading, and focused prayer, it seems I have been feeling more than a little out of touch with the Lord. Yesterday, my morning schedule changed and I ended up with two hours of free… Read More

A Man and His Mower Sent by the Lord

Just over a year ago, I was beside myself, over my head, attempting to finish preparing my humble abode for a women’s night I had planned. I was running around delegating jobs, ordering children, pushing past everyone, trying to quickly complete the multitude of tasks that lay before me. ‘How in the world am I going it get it all… Read More

Respite for the Restless

A few years ago I was about to hit a breaking point. My youngest was almost a year old and my mental health was less than par. A friend gently informed me I needed to take action. I deliberated, ‘How could I take care of myself when the needs of my family alone seemed to overwhelm me? However,” I mused,… Read More

God’s Whisper in the Silence

A few weeks ago I was frazzled by everyday life. With a teenager, two preteens, and a Kindergartener in the house, things are a little wild at times! I had missed my morning time with the Lord and I had a million things I had wanted to accomplish. Yet, I knew I needed to give God a few minutes. So,… Read More

Mission

Photograph by Laura Rousseau

My name is Sarah. I am convinced that through our everyday adventures God shows us His love. These experiences are our stories to share, stories that serve to draw each other nearer to Our Lord. We must learn to listen and observe God all around us. He whispers so we have to be still and listen, even if you are a wildflower…like me!! Wherever we are, whatever our journey, I believe God speaks to us. He meets us where we are, beckons each of our names, and calls us to Himself. By sharing my personal stories, I aspire to embolden you to authentically share your struggles and triumphs. I am praying for you, sister. Together, we will inspire others to courageously discern and follow the will of the Lord. Together, we will actively respond to our calls from God and rejoice in the ride together! Welcome to my journey!
